Each year the children, through the school and class councils, select a charity that they wish to support.
This helps the children to become aware of issues in the wider world and in recent years they have raised funds for a local charity ‘Walk Emmy Walk’ and Naomi House. The school also supports other local and national charities. For example, in recent years the children have brought Harvest Festival gifts to school which have been donated to the Basingstoke Foodbank. A collection is also taken at the end of the Christmas performances and is usually given to a local children’s charity such as Naomi House. We also like to support national appeals such as Children in Need.
We are very aware that there are many and various calls on your pockets and purses and greatly appreciate the generous support that parents show.
